NTA makes presentation to Programme for Adolescent Mothers as part of its 10th Anniversary Celebrations

The National Training Agency (NTA) made a presentation of baby supplies to the Programme for Adolescent Mothers (PAM) on Tuesday 12th March 2019 as part of its 10th Anniversary celebrations. The presentation was made by NTA’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Lincoln Morgan to PAM’s Interim President, Ms. Ann Greaves in the presence of NTA’s Marketing and Communications Officer, Mrs. Kay Julien-Gutu and PAM’s Interim Manager, Ms. Gemma Britton.

The presentation was made as a result of a special collection taken during the 10th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service of the NTA on December 6th, 2018. The worthy venture was additionally supported by the Distribution Division of George F. Huggins and Company Ltd. Among the items handed over were pampers, milk, baby wipes and cereal.

The Programme for Adolescent Mothers is an institution which seeks to give teenage mothers a second chance at completing their education. In addition to CSEC and other academic programmes, skills training is also a major component offered to the girls to increase their employability and to create entrepreneurial opportunities. Some of the training areas provided include Information Technology, Parenting, Cosmetology, Hospitality Arts, Textiles, Clothing and Fashion, Jewelry Making, Needle Craft, Cake Decorating and Management.
