NTA certifies 28 teachers as Assessors for CVQ pilot programme in secondary schools

 

Twenty-eight (28) teachers have received CVQ certificates Level 4 in Training and Development to qualify as Assessors for the Ministry of Education’s pilot programme to introduce CVQs in secondary schools. Five secondary schools are part of the pilot, with CVQ training being done in four occupational areas – Furniture Making, Food Preparation, Crop Production, and General Construction.

Eighteen of the certified assessors  were present to receive their certificates at a recent ceremony held at the Ministry of Education.  The training was done in collaboration with the Grenada National Training Agency, which also provided the certification.
