The NTA and the Ministry of Information Communication Technology (ICT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday March 28, 2023, for the implementation of the Caribbean Digital Transformation Project (CARDTP), Foundational Digital Literacy Skills component, with funding through the World Bank.
CARDTP which is earmarked to spend USD $1,049,848 over two years, will support the creation of a digitally enabling environment and drive economic development through the training of at least 300 people in in foundational digital literacy in the first phase and support 400 youth in intermediate to advanced skills in the second phase, in approved training centres across Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

Mr. Finlay Jeffrey, Permanent Secretary with responsibility for ICT, who signed on behalf of government noted that the project will help to urgently enhance the digital literacy skills of citizens so that they can adapt and benefit from modernization and digitization of government services as well as improve communication amongst all stakeholders.
