Honourable Lennox Andrews Minister for Information Communication Technology visited the National Training Agency – Grenada on March 27, to discuss the Caribbean Digital Transformation Project (CARDTP) under which the NTA is earmarked to implement the Foundational Digital Literacy component.
Remarking on the initiative, Hon. Andrews, underscored government’s policy imperative on ICT as an urgent pillar for development, recognizing that the process of digitization across the public sector, is geared at strengthening service delivery, job creation, and economic growth nationally.
Minister Andrews also praised the NTA for its track record of outstanding work, coordinating, and delivering training in technical and vocational areas since its inception in 2009 and expects no less for the execution of the CARDTP. The minister gave his firm commitment to the NTA for implementation of the project to the benefit of all Grenadians.

The Minister was accompanied by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of ICT, Finlay Jeffrey, and other members of the Digital Transformation Office.
The NTA was represented by the Chief Executive Office K. Lincoln Morgan and other technical staff of the Agency.
